The Rockingham Beach Foreshore Revitalisation Stage One is all about bringing our fantastic natural assets of Churchill Park, Bell Park and Rockingham Beach together with the local businesses in the area to create a vibrant, dynamic and fun place for all people in the City of Rockingham.

​​Included in the design is a grassed amphitheatre facing the beach, a lookout point, Eat Street, and expanded Boardwalk with terracing to the beach.

Recycled Lantern Workshop

The City will be hosting a Community Lantern Parade as part of the Rockingham Foreshore Celebration on Saturday 26 October 2019. The lantern parade will take place at Churchill Park, Rockingham Foreshore from 7.30pm.

Community members have the opportunity to be part of the celebratory parade by attending one of the City’s free Lantern Workshops. Lanterns will be made from recycled materials to signify the importance of recycling in the City and along our beaches.
